God’s feast of Hebrew civil new year
Today we look at God’s feast of trumpets which signals the Hebrew civil new year. Please remember this is God’s feast not the Hebrews or present day jews who live in Israel and dispersed throughout the world.
We celebrate the feast of trumpets this year beginning on September 8 in the year of our Lord.

We all go through difficult times in our lives. Sometimes the oppression that can come with those situations blinds us to the power of the LORD if we don’t stay focused on Him. The LORD showed me something several months ago that helped me tremendously and as I share some things I have learned, I hope that it will help someone else who may be in a place of hardship.

Proverbs 4:25-27: Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. 26 Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. 27 Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil. KJV
Do you know what keeps people from being excellent?

hey everyone, thought I would share this with you. according to the census the population of amarillo between 20 and 45 is approx. 33% . This is the group we are targeting. why? because they are the generation that has lost faith in the establishment and traditional religion and what it has to offer. they feel they have been abandoned and what they search for has not been shown to them. I feel they are right . the church has not answered their question. when they attend church(especially if they are single or single again) there is nothing there that solves their problem or eases the hurt they have. (fortunately some find an answer there in the form of a good marriage relationship, good for them, unfortunately the spector of divorce or divorces prevail, even more so in christian circles)Let's be honest , when they go to a christian dance , are they not looking for that same fulfillment? Many of them attempt to find this in secular outlets which often result in the same sad failure. We have to as a church or a christian related organization look for clues to needs and come up with solutions to the problem. I feel we need to look no further than our own hearts for the answer. And by the way, if you are over 45 take a good long look at your own heart and needs to reach out to others and their needs. As a marketing expert let me tell you that a person buys a product only because it meets a need they have, and only then. I fear churches are trying to sell a product that is defective (no offense to anyone out there) and we need to do a better job as christians to sell the genuine thing. Pray about that in your personal endeavors in life. Blessings Travis Hayes P.s. you may share this with anyone that you wish.
God willing, today, I make a difference in someone's life.
